Collision and paint is the side that deals with insurance companies, though plenty of it is customer-pay. A crash on the 215, a sandstorm on the drive back from the High Desert, a bumper you caught on a parking-structure post: the car gets torn down, repaired, refinished in our Platinum Finishing Systems downdraft booth and reassembled here. If there is a claim, Vasken talks to your adjuster and writes the supplement. If there isn't, you get the same itemized estimate and the same photo updates.
Restyling and protection is customer-pay work: Peel Clear color changes, vinyl wraps and chrome delete, paint protection film, ceramic coating, window tint and paint correction. It happens in the same building, done by people who paint cars for a living. That matters more than you'd think when someone is about to put film or a coating over your clear coat.

Change it, protect it, keep it clean
Color changes, film and coatings, done inside a paint shop. Customer-pay, quoted from photos, scheduled once your materials are here.
Most cars fit one of these. If yours fits two, that's normal — a repaired quarter panel and a Peel Clear color change can happen in the same visit.
I want a different color
Peel Clear looks like paint because it is paint. Jambs sprayed, 5-year shop warranty, and it peels off when you want the factory color back.
Vinyl wrap for printed designs, textures, chrome delete and shorter-term looks.
Repaint when you want it permanent: restorations and a factory look.
I want to protect the paint
PPF handles impact: rock chips and road rash on the hood, bumper and mirrors.
Ceramic handles chemical wear: UV, water spots, bird droppings, and it makes washing easier.
The order is correction, then PPF, then ceramic. Coating over swirls locks the swirls in.
Something hit my car
A crash is collision repair. You choose the shop, we handle the adjuster.
Sand, wind or gravel is usually a comprehensive claim, if you carry comprehensive coverage. We document the damage, you file.
A few rock chips on a hood are usually customer-pay: touch-up or a repaint of that panel.

Questions people ask before they pick a page
Which services go through insurance and which are customer-pay?
Collision repair, and sand or wind damage with a real event behind it, are usually insurance claims — collision coverage for a crash, comprehensive for weather and debris. Paint, Peel Clear, wraps, PPF, ceramic, tint and paint correction are customer-pay unless they're part of a covered repair. Either way, the first step is the same: text us photos.
Can you do body repair and a color change in the same visit?
Yes. The repair and refinish happen first, then the Peel Clear or wrap goes on over sound paint. Doing both here means one schedule, one set of photo updates, and nobody blaming the other shop.
Do you work on EVs and Teslas?
Yes. EVs, Teslas included, come through the shop for body work, wraps, tint and Peel Clear. We are a body and restyling shop, not a certified EV repair center, so high-voltage mechanical work goes to the dealer.
Do you work on motorcycles, RVs and boats?
For paint, yes. Armen refinishes motorcycle tanks and fenders, RVs, boats, commercial equipment and even appliances. See Custom Paint.
